Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the consultants for questions about the draft master plan.

This project was initiated at the request of MCAS Yuma. Following that request, the City, County, MCAS, YCAA and the Fair board entered into a memorandum of understanding then successfully obtained grant funding from the State of Arizona Military Affairs Commission and the Department of Defense's Office of Economic Adjustment to pay for this study.

The parties subsequently commissioned Populous to complete the project assessment study, which will determine the feasibility of specific sites and the overall costs of relocation. Participation in the study does not bind any one entity to the future use of a site or to relocate the Yuma County Fairgrounds.
