Orchard Park, New York - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station arrested ten subjects found illegally present in the U.S. earlier this month.

An Orchard Park police officer encountered thirteen male subjects trespassing on an elementary school grounds in Orchard Park, N.Y., on August 8. The officer requested assistance due to the time of day and multiple subjects being encountered . Agents assigned to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station responded and identified all subjects as citizens of Mexico. Ten of the thirteen subjects were determined to be illegally present in the U.S. Several of the subjects had prior immigration violation records and criminal records.

Eight of the individuals were detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia pending court appearances. Two of the individuals were released with documentation and instructed to contact U.S. States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
