Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Jan Brewer: "Arizona grieves today for an American hero who has lost his life in service to this country. Special Warfare Operator Chief Brett D. Shadle, a member of Navy SEAL Team 6, was killed Thursday during a parachute training exercise in southern Arizona when he and another SEAL collided in midair. The second SEAL, who remains unidentified, reportedly is hospitalized in stable condition.

Tucson, Arizona - Curtis Michael Garcia, 33, of Sells, Arizona was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Raner C. Collins to 16 ½ years in prison. Following incarceration, Garcia will be on lifetime supervision with sex offender conditions, including registering as a sex offender.

Tucson, Arizona - Jordan Munah Yow Choy Anthony, 21, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Raner C. Collins to four years in the Bureau of Prisons. Following incarceration, Anthony will be on lifetime supervision with sex offender conditions, including registering as a sex offender.
