Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Jan Brewer today established via Executive Order the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking. Among their charges, members will be tasked with identifying opportunities to strengthen Arizona’s current human trafficking statutes, with the ultimate goal of reducing human trafficking and assisting victims of this heinous crime.
Douglas G. Price Named Special Agent in Charge of Phoenix FBI Division

Phoenix, Arizona - Director Robert S. Mueller, III has named Douglas G. Price special agent in charge of the FBI’s Phoenix Division. Mr. Price most recently served as chief of the Employee Development and Selection Program Section in the Human Resources Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. In this role, he oversaw all senior executive service appraisals and recognition programs, special agent promotion processes, employee transfers, and employee career development.

Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Jan Brewer today signed into law HB 2204, legislation that extends health insurance to the widowed spouses and dependents of Arizona peace officers, correctional officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty. The measure includes an emergency clause, so it takes effect immediately.
