Yuma, Arizona (August 14, 2008) – The Arizona Western College Facilities Department wants to make returning and new students aware of available parking lots when classes begin Monday, August 18^th.

Due to continued campus and surrounding road construction some campus parking lots will remain closed. However, there will be signage and temporary parking lots available for all students, staff and faculty.

Bill Smith, Dean of Facilities Management and Planning, comments on the parking situation; “Campus access and parking will be the same as last year; access by 24th street to Otondo Loop road or by Hwy 95. The temporary parking area east of the Gym will still be available and will provide the largest number of spaces.“
