Yuma, Arizona - Congressman Raul M. Grijalva today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration is awarding a construction grant in the amount of $2,365,672 to Yuma International Airport to rehabilitate Taxiway F-3, which connects the airport's Defense Contractor Complex to the airport's main runway. "This is an important project for the airport and will enable them to keep working closely with Marine Corps Air Station Yuma," said Representative Grijalva. The funding is part of the FAA's Airport Improvement Program which includes an annual allocation of grant funds to take care of the airport infrastructure that is important to keep the nations aviation industry flying safely and efficiently. |
