Yuma, Arizona - Avenue C will be closed from 32nd Street to 40th Street beginning Thursday, June 12th.

A private contractor, working with a local developer, will be installing an underground electrical utility line across Avenue C south of 32nd Street.  Avenue C will be closed from 32nd Street to 40th Street (County 12th Street) beginning at 6:00 a.m. Thursday June 12th and will reopen late on Saturday June 14th.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use Avenue B and Avenue D during the closure period.

Just a reminder, motorists willfully avoiding traffic control devices, driving around road closure barricades, or driving down canal banks may be cited by the Yuma Police Department.
