Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Western College has announced that the 9th Annual AWC Alumni Baseball Game-scheduled for this Saturday afternoon, January 23rd at Kammann Field, the Matadors’ home baseball field-has been officially cancelled.
The heavy rains and inclement weather conditions that have blanketed Yuma County over the past 12 hours-coupled with the Flash Flood Watches that have been issued for all day Friday by the National Weather Service-have led AWC officials to conclude that the field conditions are unplayable for Saturday’s exhibition. The game will not be rescheduled. |
