Yuma, Arizona - Today, Yuma Police and Fire Department units were sent to 5th Avenue and 11th Street for a reported rollover accident. Upon arrival a Toyota pick-up truck was found on its roof in the 400 block of West 11th Street. A second vehicle, a Ford pick-up truck was damaged, but upright, in the intersection.

The two occupants of the Toyota were initially trapped in the vehicle. They were extricated through the rear window of the pick-up by YFD personnel using hydraulic rescue tools. Both occupants were transported to YRMC for non-life threatening injuries.

According to Yuma Police Department authorities, the Toyota had been eastbound on 11th Street and the Ford pick-up truck had been northbound on 5th Avenue. The accident is being investigated by the Yuma Police Department.
