Phoenix, Arizona - The American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter is hosting the second annual Community Leaders Breakfast on Thursday, May 7 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. The fundraiser will help the Red Cross raise critically needed funds for local programs and services.

Yuma, Arizona - In response to the recent Swine Flu health threats, Arizona Western College is educating students, faculty & staff on the dangers of the transference of the virus. On April 29th, the Emergency Operations Committee (EOC), comprised of representatives from all sectors of the college, called an informational meeting to discuss the methods of educating the campus community on the spreading of the Swine Flu germs.

Yuma, Arizona - New Support Groups are being offered for fathers and grandfathers who have children or grandchildren of any age who suffer from mental illness or who have developmental disabilities. The support groups are being offered free of charge by The Yuma Church, a new church forming in the Yuma Community.
