Yuma, Arizona - As October comes to and end, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the many activities that took place in our community during Fire Prevention Month. Arizona Western College Welcomes President of Universidad Bolivariana

After the word of the amazing AWC/NAU partnership reached Santiago, Chile and after learning about the outstanding programs, world-class faculty, and programs to develop conversational English, Martin decided to investigate.

Halloween Weekend Impaired Driving Enforcement Detail

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma Police Department, in an effort to provide for a safer community, will be conducting an intensive impaired driving enforcement detail Halloween weekend beginning on Thursday, October 30 and continuing through Sunday, November 2nd.

Residential Fire, Explosions Result In Fatalities

Yuma, Arizona - Yesterday at 3:15 am, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential fire at 10423 S. Avenue 14 ½ E. Witnesses reported hearing several small explosions coming from the residence during the fire. The explosions are believed to have been caused by small arms ammunition, which ignited during the fire.

Free Halloween Candy Screening
