Yuma, Arizona - Late last night Yuma Fire Department’s four firefighters returned from their Strike team assignment to California. They were notified Sunday that they were being demobilized and began the process that ended with them leaving the Chico, CA area (North of San Francisco) around 5:00 am yesterday morning and arriving back in Yuma about 10:00 pm last night.

Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Fire Department engine and personnel that were assisting with the current California wildfire situation had been scheduled to be sent home, but were instead redeployed to the “BTU Lightning Fire” near Chico. They have been assigned to protect structures in the path of the fire. |
