Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate National Park and Recreation Month in July - the traditional month for this designation since 1985.  The City invites residents to take advantage of a number of opportunities to get involved and get to know Yuma's parks and recreation programs and facilities.

Yuma, Arizona - There’s fun for the whole family this summer at the Foothills Library, 13226 E. South Frontage Road. During the month of July, the Foothills Library will host children’s story times and other fun summer reading program activities, family and classic movies, computer classes in both English and Spanish, ‘Guitar Hero’ and an Anime club for teens, a Chess Club, Clase de Aprender Ingles (classes to learn to speak English), and much, much, more! 

Tucson, Arizona - United States Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Tucson, Ariz. station discovered more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana in an abandoned vehicle yesterday morning.

Douglas, Arizona - Customs and Border Protection officers stopped a marijuana smuggling attempt when they seized $255,000 of marijuana Monday.
