Yuma, Arizona - The investigation continues into the disappearance of Damaris Herrera. The updated information indicates Damaris’s mother, Chrystal Abren Lopez has fled to Mexico and had knowledge where Damaris was all along. Detectives believe Damaris Herrera was in Mexico since December 10. |

Yuma, Arizona - On Tuesday December 23, 2008 at 7:00 pm the Yuma Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in a residence in the 400 block of 15th Avenue. Firefighters found the source of the smoke was a small fire in a pile of laundry on the floor of the home. Further investigation determined that the fire was started by “bottle rocket” type fireworks being launched inside the home by a teenaged resident. |
