Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Raùl M. Grijalva and 42 other members of Congress, asked U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, to review the environmental impacts of border security infrastructure and operations along the U.S./Mexico border region.

Douglas, Arizona - United States Customs and Border Protection officers stopped a drug smuggling attempt Tuesday when they apprehended a 15-year-old boy trying to smuggle marijuana taped to his body.

Yuma, Arizona - On 7/20/09, at 2:46 AM, Michael Morales was stopped and contacted for a civil traffic violation in the parking lot of the Motel 6 at 1640 S. Arizona Avenue. Officers were in contact with Morales at his vehicle, when he placed the vehicle into drive and fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed. As Morales was fleeing the parking lot, an officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle.

Yuma, Arizona - Yuma residents have just a few business days remaining in order to register to vote in the City of Yuma's primary election, which will be held September 1.
