Yuma, Arizona - The American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter is holding a meeting on Thursday, June 18 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Yuma County Library Main Branch located at 2951 S. 21st Dr. Room 160. In addition to discussing disaster response in the area, the Red Cross wants to introduce community members to the humanitarian organization and recruit more volunteers to strengthen the city’s disaster response team. |

Yuma, Arizona - This morning, just before 3:00 am, a report was received of a house on fire in the 8000 block of Topeka Place. Arriving Yuma Fire Department personnel found a single family residence with heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage and rooftop at 8060 E. Topeka Place. |
