Yuma - Drive by Shooting Suspects Sought

Yuma, Arizona - On Monday, February 18 at 7:22 pm, a drive-by shooting occurred in the 1800 block S. Madison Ave. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The Yuma Police Department stopped a vehicle matching the description of the one involved at 18th Street and 4th Avenue, but determined the vehicle was not involved in the shooting.

Chino, California - Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Co., a Chino, Calif., establishment, is voluntarily recalling approximately 143,383,823 pounds of raw and frozen beef products that FSIS has determined to be unfit for human food because the cattle did not receive complete and proper inspection.

Arizona Border Patrol Agents Seize Over $2 Million Worth of Marijuana

Tucson, Arizona - Border Patrol agents assigned to the Tucson Sector seized more than $2 million worth of marijuana yesterday during routine patrols. On Wednesday morning, Tucson sector agents on patrol near the Baboquivari Mountains spotted nine men carrying large bundles of marijuana, one of whom also had a rifle in his hands.

Yuma - Homicide Victim Identified

Yuma, Arizona - On 2-14-08 at approximately 2028 hours, Patrol personnel responded to the area of Pac Sun at the Yuma Palms Shopping center in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival officers found David Duran an 18-year-old male subject down in front of Pac Sun. He was transported to YRMC and pronounced deceased from an apparent single gunshot wound to the chest.
